Psychological Coaching.
Psychological Coaching is not therapy. It’s taking the view that both coaching and psychology are developmental sciences. They are all about helping people make positive changes. My background in psychology and research enables me to use an integrative approach to gain a deep understanding of human behaviour and psychological thought, so that I can better support you in your coaching journey.
Examples:
Life transition and personal growth
Career and professional goals
Self-worth and inner critic
Managing stress and anxiety
Confidence coaching
Relationship challenges
Developing better habits
My Approach.
I’m a strong believer that the real impact of coaching is change and I am therefore results focused. I keep up-to-date with best practice in my field, both through literature reviews and regularly attending academic conferences. I do this across both psychology and neuroscience disciplines.
Using psychological theory in my coaching work helps me form a more complete understanding of you. In our sessions, you can show up exactly as you are: lonely, confused, enraged, excited, stressed, anxious, unsure, hopeful. I believe there is a perfect balance between supporting with empathy and challenging when needed. I will encourage you to go out of your comfort zone, but honour where you are in the moment.
My goal is to create a safe, and accepting space so that no matter what you’re experiencing you can fully experience it without judgment.
